On Site. On Set. On Location. On Call. 24/7. We provide on site, on set, on location and on call physios and therapists for the film, television & theatre industry. Services extend to on set presence and day or night location clinics. We work with crew, production staff and talent. As a multidisciplinary team we meet the specific health needs of a production.
Muscular Skeletal Physiotherapy– ideal for anyone with an injury old or new- think recurrent bad backs, necks, aches, pains, sprains and strains. Physios specialise in fixing a specific areas function and doing so quickly.
On Call Osteopaths– have a holistic approach- seeing and dealing with conditions in relation to the body as a whole. The approach here is more hands on and besides massage therapists, Osteopaths are best suited for remedying issues through soft tissue therapy.
Chiropractic Medicine is focused on treating the very system that makes every part of us function- our nervous system. Chiros also diagnose and treat neuromuscular disorders and structural disorders with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine.
Soft Tissue Therapy– benefits a number of people that we see as it’s the most ‘hands on’ approach to remedying tension in the soft tissues. Our Soft Tissue Therapists also treat minor soft tissue injuries.
As standard we also provide….
Kinesio Taping– proving very popular as it can we worn under costume all day. It’s a drug free pain relief alternative for when popping pills is not an option. Great way to prolong the good we whilst you are on set and between treatments. Its stays on for up to hours and will stay on for up to 7 days.
We are lucky enough to have one of Kinesio tapes UK/European instructors on board so you are in expert hands when it comes to taping.
Fixed Taping– designed to get you through your day. Think taping for joint stability and pain reduction.
As a method it offers more support to an injured joint area by fixing it in position and gently compressing the area which helps to limit swelling. By limiting swelling you also limit the pain.
Ultrasound therapy– a key modality for treating soft tissue injuries and reducing pain from inflammation.
Ultrasonic waves are moved over the surface of the skin in the region of the injury transmitting the wave energy into the tissues. One of the greatest proposed benefits of ultrasound therapy is that it is thought to reduce the healing time of certain soft tissue injuries.
Acupuncture– or dry needling is another way to reduce pain when nothing else seems to work. It offers immediate pain relief again without the need for drug relief and believe it or not it doesn’t hurt.
Dry needling is the use of either solid or hollow-core hypodermic needles applied to reduce muscle pain.
We are a multi-disciplinary team and so you have access to physios, chiros, osteos, massage therapists, Pilates and nutritional experts. For further information email email@example.com
