Pam joins The Flying Physios massage team with an extensive background in physiotherapy. She worked as a physiotherapist both within the NHS and with local rugby teams for 6 years before taking time out to support her young family. After an extended career break she decided to return to the work place with a more hands on approach and embarked on a further year of studies to train in Sports massage to the highest level.
Pam combines her massage and soft tissue skills with her anatomical and diagnostic knowledge from her career as a physiotherapist, to provide an outstanding level of treatment to clients. She takes great pride in working with the client to provide a highly personalised treatment to meet their specific needs, utilising a wide variety of techniques to reduce pain and muscle tension and regain normal muscle length and function. In addition to in clinic treatment, Pam will often provide advice on exercises, stretches, postural awareness and other home care advise to educate the client and help manage symptoms. Her clients to date have included elite and recreational athletes, dancers, actors, office workers and stay at home parents.
When she is not working, Pam can often be found pounding the streets and pavements around Hertfordshire. She is a keen runner and has completed a number of marathon and half marathon races and has also volunteered on the massage teams at a number of high profile sporting events.
